untitled

This is the story about Jed mentioned in the Ring*Con programmbooklet november 2006.

Jed is one of New Zealand's hardest working actors performing in theatre television and of course film. Most recently seen on the New Zealand TV in Thomas Robin's serie "The Killian Curse". Jed was lucky enough to have worked with Peter Jackson since 1992 when he appeared as the Zombie hoodlum Void in Braindead, and then as the seducing boarder in Heavenly Creatures, as well as teh many charaters he played in the LOTR Trilogy. He also spent time as a Sailor on the set of King Kong. Jed travelled south to film "10,000 BC"at the beginning of the year playing a slave rider and helping to train horses they rode. Earlier this year he had the pleasure of working with Andy Serkis as a Motion Capture Actor for a game Andy was directing for Sony, and is currently filming a television series set in a performing Art College.

In between he has shot edited and produced a series of videos for the Stansborough Farm experience, the good folk who wove the Cloaks for The Lord of the Rings.

Jed lives in a small west coast community and is raising his two children as well renovating his house. Next year he will be touring the Award Winning New Zealand play "Skin Tight"in the U.K. and if they secure enough sponsorship, further in Europe.
